I think it could also be because we have heard the same thing from women. I was laughed at the first time a woman saw me naked, think about what that does to you. But, though I’m more attracted to women, I think mens bodes are beautiful as well.
Yeah, and I don’t think that’s a rare occurrence at all. I think maybe it might be because women are more often depicted in art and so their bodies are more often seen as being something beautiful or artistic. Male nudity is hardly ever shown in art, be it in film or photography or paintings. This absence of the male form makes it seem much more bizarre to people, I think. I also think the male body is much more violent than the female body. Violent, of course, is not the right word, but what I mean is that the male body is much more aggressive in a sense than the female body, and this largely has to do with the male’s position in sex. There might be a level of fear, maybe, that comes with looking at or being around the male body. Perhaps humor is the only way to dissolve this fear and make the male body less intimidating.
